What is the difference between the drain and no-drain versions?
The drain version (A2851U) includes a built-in drain fitting for gravity discharge of accumulated rainwater. The no-drain version (A2850U) requires pumping. Choose drain if your containment area collects rain; choose no-drain if regulations require zero-discharge containment.
When should I use the drain versus pumping out water?
Only open the drain after visually inspecting collected water for oil sheens, discoloration, or odors. If water appears contaminated, it must be pumped out and disposed of properly. Never discharge visibly contaminated water through the drain.
What size tanks or drums will fit inside this containment?
The 102" x 48" footprint accommodates a single 275-gallon IBC tote or a cluster of up to eight 55-gallon drums. The 400-gallon containment capacity exceeds the 110% SPCC requirement for a single 275-gallon container.
Is the 18 oz PVC material resistant to fuels and oils?
