These flexible, easy-to-shape oil absorbent socks are specifically designed to absorb up to 15 times their weight in oil spills and are non-biodegradable. For a cost-effective option, try our spill containment socks with corn cob.
Absorbs Oil. Repels Water
Great for water applications. Our Oil Absorbent Socks repel water and only absorb oil based fluids (hydrocarbons). They will not sink in water even if saturated with oil. Because they float they are ideal for cleanup of waterborne hydrocarbons. Oil absorbent socks can easily be shaped or molded around equipment. Provides a dike for spills.
Three Sizes
These Oil Absorbent Socks are available in three lengths: 4', 8' and 12'. The flexible form is easy to wrap around leaky machinery and is quick to put in position. Snug fit has no seepage. Prevents spills spreading and becoming a slip hazard.
Color Coded
High visibility white quickly identifies as an oil-only sorbent. White oil-only spill socks are also easy to see when saturated.
