Protect Your Workers & Remain Compliant With An Emergency Shower Station!

While you never hope for disaster to strike, you need to plan for it. Be prepared to deliver rapid first aid response when a crisis occurs with our emergency shower stations! These help treat/prevent injuries and keep you compliant with occupational safety requirements. They are literally a must-have in facilities dealing with hazardous chemicals.

The showers you’ll find in this category meet ANSI standards for work and safety shower and eyewash equipment. They’re also ISEA Z358.1-2014 compliant. Whether you’re handling acids, pesticides, or other corrosive materials, these showers can save lives.

The Different Emergency Shower Stations We Carry

Keep in mind that the showers on this page are suitable for indoor use in locations that are not subject to freezing or overheating. You’ll find three different types of stations here: drench, combination, and cubicles.

Drench shower models

Our unheated drench shower equipment is for general use where an eyewash station is not required. Barrier-free showers are a great option for indoor locations with limited space. These models deliver a controlled, 20 GPM flow of flushing fluid to meet ANSI standards.

These are activated by an easy-grip-coated stainless steel pull handle. To diffuse flow, replace the removable self-draining drench hose nozzle with an optional rose shower head.

These are available in ceiling, floor, wall, and ring mount models, and include a universal emergency shower sign.

Combination emergency shower and eyewash units

These units feature both a shower and eyewash unit to provide initial on-site treatment for exposure to hazards. Floor and wall mount models come with top or bottom inlets and are rated for 20GPM water flow at the shower nozzle.

Then, you can choose between open or closed bowl face and eyewash units. Twin diffusers deliver a soft, aerated water flow of 3 GPM. Open bowl units have dust protective nozzle covers that pop off during activation. Add an optional foot treadle to combination emergency showers for a fast, secondary operation.

Safety shower cubicles with emergency eyewash

Our floor mount emergency shower/eyewash cubicles have stainless steel frames with GRP sheeting walls. Green and white safety stripes plus universal shower/eyewash station signs aid visibility.

Stainless grate floor panels provide good grip and fast draining. An integral drain sump and clear strip screens reduce over-spray and excess water outside the cubicle. Both models with an internal 120V, 60Hz sump pump are suitable for non-hazardous locations.

Shower cubicles with internal mount eyewash have 20GPM flow, 10in diameter shower rose, and hand lever activation. The 3GPM internal mount eyewash activates by pulling down its lid.

The multi-nozzle decontamination shower units have 8 PVC spray heads with a flow rate of 30GPM. These showers are automatically activated by a foot panel when one enters the cubicle. The exterior mount eyewash equipment has pull-down lid activation and 3GPM water flow.

The high-performance 316L stainless steel ball valves on these showers will stand up to tough worksite conditions. The removable drench nozzles are molded from high-strength Nylon 6.

And, all units come with an inspection tag for recording service and test history. Emergency eyewash and shower equipment is available with the following piping and finish options:

  • Cost-effective mild galvanized mild steel piping has a thin layer of zinc for corrosion resistance.
  • Rust-resistant stainless steel piping is a good option for wet environments as well as locations with salt spray exposure.

We also offer five shower systems with durable, green powder-coat stainless steel. Because they are the most resistant to flammable and corrosive materials, these models are ideal for laboratory use.

Here at AbsorbentsOnline, we also offer a range of other essential safety equipment and supplies. These categories are similar, and may be worth checking out while you’re here:

Necessary Emergency Shower Station Accessories

If you want to unlock the highest degree of safety and compliance, consider adding these emergency shower station accessories:

  • Shower roses offer an alternative to standard nozzle heads on most unheated emergency showers.
  • Modesty curtains help protect worker privacy when removing contaminated clothing while showering. Install on wall- or pipe-mount showers using a powder-coated steel rod and bracket.
  • Foot activation treadles assist with the hands-free operation of eyewash or showers.
  • Use the safety shower test kit with shower sock for flow testing equipment to ensure proper performance. Contents are conveniently stored inside the kit's bucket.
