Product Information

Our Aluminum Bracket Oil Containment Berm offers a cost-efficient solution for long term or temporary spill control on job sites. Its economical design requires an initial set up of the containment walls yet proves just as effective as more expensive models (like foam wall berms) to prevent soil pollution.

They are constructed from chemical resistant and heavy-duty Copolymer-2000 with aluminum bracket berm stake walls. These spill berms come in 19 standard sizes which makes them ideal for storing IBC, frac tanks, and other hazardous material containers. Custom size containment solutions are also available to suit specific oil spill prevention applications, including housing large or small spill decks and spill pallets.

Featuring 12 inch high collapsible walls, our secondary spill containment systems offer spill control capacity of 179 to 7405 gallons. An efficient design means these containment units are perfect for buildings and sites with limited space—there is no apron outside the containment pool floor, which also eliminates possible trip hazards.

Multi-Purpose Oil Containment Berms

oil containment bermFrom 55-gallon drum containment to housing spill pallets, spill decks or overpacks, these units prove useful in a variety of oil spill prevention applications. As well as being highly portable, our secondary containment berms are ideal for confined space environments because there are no outer components, like an external apron.

Consider using an optional Ground tarp or Track Belt for scenarios requiring additional protection against punctures or tire wear. For example, these accessories may be beneficial for spill containment berms in use on rough terrain, or, subject to movement of heavy equipment and vehicles including tanker trucks.

Heavy Duty Components

oil containment berm with drive-over wallsOur reliable spill containment products feature an economical and rugged design. They are crafted from Copolymer-2000 with aluminum L-brackets that provide sturdy perimeter support and keep walls upright should a spill occur. Each bracket slips into a heat welded pocket that sit at 12" spacing along the collapsible wall sides.

In addition to its chemical-resistant properties, Copolymer-2000 is very easy to clean up before stowing in your workplace safety cabinet for future deployment. The flexible properties of this material ensure these portable spill containment units are suitable for use on firm or soft surfaces, including dirt, sand, and gravel.

Please see our PDF guide below, under Technical Information, for more details about chemical compatibility with hazardous materials.

Easy-Up Collapsible Walls

aluminum l-bracket containment berm assemblyNo assembly tools are necessary to erect these spill containment berms; simply insert each aluminum L-bracket into its corresponding perimeter wall pocket. Remove the brackets from their sleeve to lower the containment walls when it is necessary to access or place equipment, such as spill containment pallets or IBC, within the berm.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Clear any debris or sharp objects from the area where the berm will be in use.
  2. Situate and unfold the berm in its chosen location.
  3. Lift the sidewalls and insert each aluminum L-bracket into its corresponding pocket, around the berm's perimeter.
  4. Check the four walls are firmly erect before using the berm unit.

These can help prevent the berm shifting (specifically when it is empty) in high wind locations, or, in areas where there the berm may be subject to ground movement.
