Absorbent Ground Protect Mats With Non-Penetrable Backing

Our ground protection mat has a polypropylene absorbent upper side that is bonded to a non-penetrable vinyl backing. The matting material is heavy duty and built to last for years. Rust Resistant Grommets Installed and 9” Stakes Included

An adequate number of rust resistant grommets are installed on each mat so it can be properly anchored down and to insure the mat will not tear. This will give you years of reliable use. Included with each mat are rust resistant 9” metal U stakes. Install and remove these with a claw hammer to keep the mat in place. 

Cleaning Is A Breeze

Cleaning a turf protection mat is simple. It can be vacuumed with a shop vac or hosed off and air dried. Food and grease stains can be scrubbed with a degreaser and then hosed off. Give the mat a chance to completely dry, and simply roll up the mat and store with the stakes for your next use.

Additional Information On Our Turf Protection Mats

• Charcoal gray polypropylene absorbent upper side and non-penetrable black vinyl backing.
• Top side is a universal absorbent and will absorb all types of fluids.
• Water or melting snow will not damage the mat. Just let it air dry.
• The mat is non-flammable in its original state. Depending on what is absorbed, it may become flammable.
• Dispose of the mat according to local, State, and Federal Regulations.

Grommets and Stakes Configurations

• The grommets are size #2 – 3/8th inch opening and rust resistant. Color of the grommet may vary.
• The stakes are 9 inches long and made of rust resistant galvanized steel.
• On a 3’ wide mat there is a grommet in each corner and one on each side every 4 or 5 feet. On a 6’ wide mat there are 3 grommets on each end (on corners and middle) and one every 4 or 5 feet along both sides of the mat.

Caution:  Sweep away large rocks from the area the mat is going to be placed on so they do not protrude through the mat if driven on and for the safety of pedestrians walking on the mat. Pound stakes so they are flush with the ground to prevent trip and falls.
