Operating on standard 120V power, the SmartAsh is designed for U.S. domestic use at construction sites, oil drilling operations, military installations, disaster relief areas, truck stops, campsites, and any remote location with standard electrical power. Simply load the drum 2/3 full, light the refuse with newspaper, clamp on the lid, and adjust the airflow — the SmartAsh creates a cyclonic whirlwind of fire reaching 1,000–1,400°F, efficiently reducing waste volumes on-site at an average rate of 50 lbs per hour.
The SmartAsh burns soiled absorbent materials (pads, pillows, socks, booms), paper waste, used oil filters, wood, food waste, oily rags, and waste oil (with optional OilAway attachment). It meets EPA requirements for burning non-hazardous refuse under EPA Regulation 40 CFR Part 60 (Standards of Performance), exempted under section 60.2555. Constructed with a 304 stainless steel lid, 330 stainless steel spark screen, and powder-coated tubular steel frame with brass-bearing wheels for easy mobility.
