Provide Quick First-Aid Response With An Emergency Eyewash Station In The Workplace
Don’t risk an accident in the workplace turning into a tragedy. With an emergency eyewash station in place, your workplace is prepared for the worst-case scenario. Your employees will be kept safe, and you’ll be kept compliant - making this one of the most essential investments you can make in your operation.
Most of our eyewash stations meet minimum compliance standards for preventing and treating injuries to the eye or face.
This includes Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) requirements for first aid: Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.
They also meet guidelines set by the American National Standards Institute - ANSI Standard Z358.1. Including height and GPM flow rates for flushing fluids.
The Different Types Of Emergency Eyewash Stations We Offer
Choose between three styles of hands-free eye/face wash shower equipment for fixed locations. Their flow-rate regulators ensure a gentle water flushing stream.
- Our enclosed lid models have a pull-down activation tray that helps keep the unit free from contaminants. A flow valve on the side of the bowl adjusts water flush requirements. The large, green pictogram label helps increase visibility.
- Open bowl models feature twin spray nozzles with pop-off dust protective covers as well as fine mesh strainers. An individual flow controller ensures a gentle flow of aerated water.
- The two hand-held hose models have either single or twin nozzles. They have pop-off dust covers and a lock-on actuating button for easy operation.
Choose From Durable, Long-Lasting Materials
Our pedestal eyewash stations are available with three piping choices. Across all three you’ll enjoy durability that lasts years and years of reliable use. But, here is some info to help you make the right choice:
- Our cost-effective mild galvanized steel pipe models feature a thin layer of zinc for corrosion resistance. Suitable for non-corrosive environments.
- Rust-resistant stainless steel piping units are perfect for wet environments. And also locations with exposure to salt spray.
- Units with green and white stripe pipes are designed to withstand freezing temperatures. They are trace-tape heated and insulated for cold climates down to -4°F.
We also offer three open-bowl stainless units with green powder-coating. These are the most corrosion-resistant models, so ideal for use in laboratories and schools. Their protective powder-coat ensures they are extremely strong and easy to clean.
Pedestal eye/face wash models
These eye and face wash stations are for open areas, away from walls. Designed at ANSI-compliant height, they are suitable for Class 1 Division 2 hazardous areas, as well as non-hazardous areas. They come with a universal eyewash station sign.
Wall mount eyewash stations
We have four wall mount units available. The enclosed model has a pull-down lid which ensures the eyewash nozzles and bowl remain free from contaminants. Diffusers provide a gentle flow of aerated water which helps prevent further injury to the eyes.
Pop-off caps provide protection for the three open bowl models' twin spray nozzles. The bowls of these wall mount units have yellow ABS plastic, stainless steel, or stainless with green powder coating. Stainless steel quarter-turn ball valves and stop-plates will endure rough handling without failure.
Handheld drench shower heads
The drench hose and twin-nozzle shower head units come with 4.9 feet of reinforced hose. The spray heads have pop-off dust covers and handle feature a locking activation button for ease of use. This eyewash equipment is a good option for sites where workers handle or are at risk of exposure to hazardous substances.
