These basic gas cylinder carts transport a single-cylinder pressurized gas tank of 6- to 12-in diameter or a larger cryogenic cylinder from 9- to 18-in diameter. The V-shape cradles support and cylinders to keep them secure. They even come with lay-flat floor plates to eliminate the need to lift cylinders. This leads to easy loading and unloading.

The tilt-back cylinder hand trucks have swivel casters behind the primary wheels. This means the cart can rest on all four wheels while in tilt-back mode. This reduces the physical effort of keeping the hand truck upright while moving heavy cylinders around.

Our load and lift tank cart (A35054J) is ideal for raising and installing your cylinder on elevated surfaces. For example, you can use this particular hand cart to lift cylinders onto platforms, pallets, or inside cabinets. Turn the hand-crank cable winch to raise and position the cylinder in welders and other equipment. This model has a built-in clamping system with a chain.

Double cylinder capacity hand trucks

Double gas cylinder carts dollies accept two tanks, with combined diameters up to 23in. These are great for full and oxy-acetylene cylinders that are common to welding carts.

The firewall hand trucks are another great choice for welding cart applications, such as a mobile oxygen and acetylene tank torch cart. They’re also ideal if you need to store welding cylinders on the truck for longer than 24 hours.

The steel firewall provides a barrier between the two cylinders on the torch cart. This is necessary to reduce the risk of fire or explosion. It also helps protects cylinders against damage during transfer or storage. The firewall of steel-encased Marinite® creates a one-hour fire barrier between the fuel and oxidizer. This exceeds the minimum NFPA 55, OSHA, and CGA standards.

Triple grip handle models help control a high center of gravity by expanding the available grip area. This provides both improved leverage and swing radius for better handling.

Carts with a hoist lifting eye allow for safe crane transport on-site. For instance, on construction sites, in areas with poor accessibility, or between floors.

Multi-cylinder cart caddy

The durable 7- and 11-gauge steel construction has powder coat finishing. They also have three sets of support bars for strength and rigidity. Upper and lower bracket securement locations hold the cylinders back-to-back. Bumper guard edging on the cradles protects your cylinders from damage while providing extra grip.

Heavy-duty 1.5" x 54" polypropylene support straps with steel cinch buckles secure individual cylinders to prevent tipping. For additional safety, mobile cart stands include openings for optional secondary support chains (A35366J), one for each strap.

Choose from a wide range of wheel diameter and construction options on your gas tank carts. All axle-mount wheel styles feature dual ball bearings for smooth rolling.

• Steel hub semi-pneumatic wheels use a dense, molded solid rubber outer with a hollow core. Because semi-pneumatic wheels are not under air pressure, the rubber is much thicker. This means they offer excellent puncture resistance.
• Steel hub pneumatic wheels help to provide shock absorption over uneven and bumpy surfaces. The outer rubber wheel attaches to the rim with air forced inside to provide pressure.
• Steel hub foam-filled flat-free wheels offer bounce and load handling characteristics similar to air-filled pneumatic rubber wheels. But, these have the advantage of never going flat.
