The easy to replace portable barricade parts are made of impact resistant polyethylene. Anti-skid feet and secure stainless steel hinges ensure barricades stay in place during use. Suitable to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, this material resists both impact and heat damage.

Use these durable components to configure Type 1 or Type 2 safety barricades. Set up a Type I barricade to limit pedestrian access or crowd control. Type II traffic safety barricades help alert road hazards like speed bumps or work zones. Plastic folding barricades are test certified to meet NCHRP-350 crash requirements and MUTCD standards.

Three reflective sheeting options

The plastic panels come with three choices of retroreflective sheeting for traffic safety. The different performance grades describe the ability to reflect light back and increase driver visibility. Retroreflectivity degrades over time, depending on the sheeting material you choose:

• Engineer Grade (EG) - returns a basic amount of light back to its source. Lifespan: 5 years.
• High Intensity Prismatic (HI) - returns approximately 32% of light. Visibility: between 800 to 1,200 feet away. Lifespan: 10 years.
• Diamond Grade (DG) returns approximately 60% of light. Visibility: between 1,300 and 1,600 feet away. Lifespan: 12 years.

Reflective bottom and top panels feature a recess design to protect sheeting from scratches or surface damage. We also offer individual 100 yard rolls of reflective sheeting, with either 8 or 12 inch stripes. All pre-striped barricade panels comes with a Right Hand Stripe. The United States Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) specify reflective standards for traffic sign and traffic control equipment. Always check with Federal and State Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) to determine your traffic barrier requirements.

Durable plastic barricade components

Our plastic folding barricade legs and panels are made of high density polyethylene. This impact resistant material provides maximum durability and strength, even in hot climates. The blow-molded parts minimize bending, sagging, cracking or warping. Our portable barricades' modular design means components are easy to replace in the event of damage.

Plastic barricade legs hold securely together with a combination steel hinge bolt. Feet are fitted with anti-skid gripper teeth to prevent ground movement. Legs also feature molded-in stacking lugs to keep barricades in place during transportation and storage.

The impact resistant plastic panels have a recess design to protect reflective sheeting from scratch damage. Fit two styles of optional LED barricade lighting to increase visibility.

Lightweight for easy handling

The plastic folding barricades can weigh less than 15lbs yet are rigid enough to stay in place when set up. The folding design makes them very easy to deploy, transport and store. Built-in male and female molded lugs on the plastic leg units ensure slip-free stacking. There is no need to remove optional plastic lights from the frames during storage.

Our folding combination metal leg and plastic panel barricades form a durable and long lasting unit. Choose between heavy duty 12 gauge and more affordable 14 gauge leg thicknesses. Available with either white paint or galvanized steel legs.

Ballasting options for windy environments

These folding plastic panel barricades are suitable for use in a variety of outdoor conditions. Optional ballast units offer additional stability for locations prone to wind gusts.

• Our injection-molded plastic hollow bottom panel holds up to 15 lbs. of sand or gravel.
• Install an optional fiberglass sandbag crossbar as a traditional stabilization method.
