Barricade lights increase visibility of traffic safety products in any weather or lighting. Steady or flashing lights are often important additions for traffic control in work zones. They make road conditions safer for construction crews as well as motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.

We offer a range of heavy duty and economy battery power and solar assist lights. Units with light sensitive photocells ensure automatic shut down during the day. In comparison to incandescent bulbs, power-saving LED lights and circuits deliver a 4 to 5 times battery life increase.

These warning lights are easy to use and compatible with most traffic control equipment. LED lights include standard hardware with tamper proof mounting bolts and wrench/key. Install on traffic signs, barricades, or channelizer drums to alert motorists of hazards. Use handheld LED batons as general lighting safety products at roadside emergencies and more.

Warning/barricade light types and applications

Barricade lights types differ by their LED intensity, visibility and D.O.T. usage approval. Some units can function with different modes as Type A/C or Type B/C lights depending on the intensity of its LED. We offer LED barricade lights with an amber lens. Other lens colors may be available by special order - contact us for details.

Type A lights

• Low intensity and flash from both sides.
• Typical uses are on channelizers, as warning markers for traffic control signs, road closures and potential hazards.
• These lights are for night use only and are not permissible in daylight.

Type B lights

• High intensity and flash from one side only.
• Suitable for similar warning uses as Type A lights, as well as drawing motorists' attention to road hazard signage.
• Back and hood designs ensure light only angles in one direction so they are visible in all day/night light conditions.

Type C lights

• Burn steady and do not flash.
• Alert motorists about the barricade or traffic safety device itself rather than road hazards.
• Use in a delineator series to guide traffic through obstacles like temporary road construction work zones in poorly lit conditions.

Type D lights

• May burn steady, flash or both providing 360 degree visibility with a dome-style lens.
• Eliminates alignment visibility issues on round traffic cone or drums.
• Suitable for many types of industrial uses, including emergency/construction vehicle-mount, during the day or night.

Economy D-Cell Battery Light

Our lightweight 3 volt Y2K LED barricade light is suitable for Type A or Type C uses. A 3-way switch changes between flashing, steady burn and off modes. Its 3 volt circuit can run on two or four D-Cell batteries and has a power-saving photocell feature. It lasts up to five times as long as traditional 6 volt lantern-style lights.

This LED economy light has an amber lens color. Its compact, yellow case houses corrosion-resistant stainless steel battery contacts and moisture protected circuit. Tested for compliance to ITE specifications, the Model Y2K light includes mounting hardware. This compact light is a popular choice for our A-Frame and Folding traffic barricades.

Model 400 6-Volt Barricade Light

This Model 400 type B light has a 3-way switch pin for flashing and/or steady burn, plus off modes. The heavy duty yellow housing case is made of high-impact polypropylene. The UV-stabilized 7" Fresnel polycarbonate lens design features a 5/8" reflector outer ring.

Its power source is two 6V spring terminal batteries optimized by an energy saving photo cell. Moisture-proof circuitry has a 2 year warranty and features reverse polarity protection. Compatible with a variety of devices including the loop-handle delineator traffic cone, this energy efficient LED light offers a long service life of up to 10 years.

Model 2006 D-Cell and 2006S Solar Assist Lights

With its 3-way mode, the Model 2006 3 volt D-cell light is suitable for type A and type C applications. The durable yellow co-polymer case houses an impact-resistant breakaway internal candle to minimize damage. Vertically position 2 or 4 batteries by dropping them into the snap-lock closing case base.

The Model 2006S Solar Barricade Light shares similar features to the standard model but has circuitry in the head assembly. An internal high capacity NiMH rechargeable battery uses solar panels for power.

Model 212 and 213-3LW Type B-Lights

With an extended battery life of up to 24 days, the Model 212 12V high intensity LED type B-light is a great option for construction and school zone uses. It has a 3-way switch for flashing, steady burn and off functions. A visor hood cap and solid back ensures it exceeds type “B” light specifications. This light has a yellow case and power source of two 6 Volt spring terminal batteries with photocell.

The Model 212-3LW high intensity LED type B-light has a lightweight case of yellow high-impact polypropylene. It operates on two or four D-Cell batteries and features a polycarbonate lens. This compact light offers over 60 days of operation on two batteries or over 120 days on four batteries.

LED Baton Lights

Ideal for emergency traffic control scenarios, our 17" LED Light Batons come in three colors of red, green, or blue. Choose between flash, steady burn and flashlight modes. The lightweight unit has ABS plastic casing that is both water and shock proof, with a non-slip grip.

This traffic wand light provides up to 100 hours of run time and includes an audible siren. Its magnetic base, lanyard and belt clips offer versatile handling and operation applications whenever additional safety lighting is necessary.

Traffic Cone LED lights

Available in amber or red, these LED cone safety lights are compatible with spring or recyclable LDPE orange traffic cones. Slot the round light into the top opening of the cone to increase visibility. They operate with two AA batteries.

Low Profile Strobe Light

Ideal for mounting on emergency vehicles, construction equipment or fork lifts, the Model 7800 strobe light has an amber dome lens height of 5 1/2". Its 12 Volt power produces 100 candela of light. Attach this warning light with magnets or screw base.
